Using A.I. has allowed us to access exceptional genetics including the top ranked ram in the across flock evaluation. We have also participated in the lamb survival study conducted by AgResearch. Our selection emphasis is on early lamb growth, lamb survival, moderate scanning and lambing percentages suitable for hill country, while maintaining excellent structural soundness. Stud ewes and ewe hoggets are run with commercial ewes in large mobs except at mating and lambing. No adult ewes are drenched.
