Situated at Milton the stud has consistently sold commercial rams to a wide range of environments. A strong emphasis is placed on animal soundness and survivability. Rams are DNA tested for the cold tolerance gene and only sires with adequate ratings in this domain are used in the flock. Our intention is to breed sheep that are easy care, have high survivability and well muscled with quality 26–34 micron wool. All ewes have to meet criteria of a minimum fertility background of 150% to enter and stay in the stud.
