Awaroa Perendales are run on steep hill country west of Waitomo. We aim to produce a big bold sheep with fertility. All lambs are fattened to weights 18–20kg. We started facial eczema testing in 2002 after purchasing an eczema tolerant ram from Waimanu Stud. In 2008 190 ewes were added from the Herangi Stud.
